Alexander Wang Spring 2014

It's now day 4 at New York Fashion Week and we must admit the past few days have been pretty painful as we sit at home studying whilst every second photo on our instagram feed is seen sporting the hashtag #NYFW. We're not in a good place. 

Luckily, we have  the internet, so we are still able to see all the collections and backstage antics without actually attending. Here are some gem's from one of our favourite designers Alexander Wang. If it was anyone else we would probably say the fact that he's printed his name into some of the garments (look closely) is a bit pretentious, but it's Alexander Wang, so let's just call it utter brilliance. Who's with us?

Livin' The Dream: Planet Blue's Fall Lookbook

We've always had a soft spot for Planet Blue. Every time we head over there to do a bit of 'online window shopping' we fall in love with their beachy, boho vibes all over again. What's great about Planet Blue is whilst it has this well-known aesthetic it's also incredibly up to date with what's going on in the fashion world. 

They just released their Fall 2013 Campaign 'Livin' the Dream' and even though we're craving the (soon to come) summer over here in Australia, this lookbook has us seriously wishing we were heading into fall so we could rock some of these pieces. The lookbook is centered around two lovers on a coastal road-trip and we're pretty sure has everyone lusting for the free spirited southern Californian lifestyle that this campaign embodies, are we right?

Our home-town girl Bambi Northwood-Blyth's first collection B.BAM was released today and it's everything we thought it would be. Think chilled out, back to school vibes with fresh, fun elements. The collection's exclusive to General Pants Co. and you can purchase your favourite pieces here.

It was a very Tavi weekend

Our all time favourite person Tavi Gevinson has been in Australia over the past week or so, and this weekend we had the chance to go see her in person *dead* . On friday night we went to the Antheum Theatre and heard her talk about 'her world', most of which involved being a fan girl. She was also interviewed by Estelle Tang after this talk, where Estelle told us all to imagine our enemies pooing to feel better. 

Today (Saturday) we went to an under 21's 'Rookie Day' where 5 amazing young women spoke about what they do and following your passions. Mood boards were created and we danced to Taylor Swift with the lights off. Overall it was an overly inspiring two days, and we got to meet the little wonderland pixie that is Tavi Gevinson so we're pretty damn happy.

Style Icon: Lily Collins

Lily Collins has always had impeccable style, but we have noticed that her fashion has skyrocketed in recent weeks for the press tour for her new movie ('The Mortal Instruments: The City of Bones'). We love all of her looks and we hope that she keeps up her amazing style choices!!
