Rihanna for River Island

'Rihanna to design 'street to chic' clothing line for River Island' ... and we couldn't be happier. 

Our fave bad girl Riri has collaborated with river island, on their new Autumn winter collection 13/14, and from the pictures we can already tell that we love it!

We can deffinately see Rihanna's own style shining through, with a very grungy, sporty chic feel coming through in all of the pieces!

Street Style - Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week wrapped up this friday, and whilst there were some amazing collections by Danish designers - our favourites being Malene Birdger, Anne Sofie Madsen and Stine Goya -what caught our eye most was what was happening outside the shows, the street style.
Throughout the week fashion week goers were seen wearing a lot of  black & white and big, bold coats, which means both of us here at 7thand52nd were in absolute heaven! These are our top 10 looks, found on style.com and harpers bazaar, which are your favourites?

Winter Spring Transitional Outfit Ideas

Here in Melbourne this week it has been some seriously un-predictable weather, ranging from heavy rain to extreme sun, which is extremely normal for us. 

Seeing as signs of spring are starting to appear for us, we thought we would come up with 3 outfit ideas for those days where it's freezing in the morning but sunny during the day (or vice versa) and your classic summer and winter combo's just cant deal with the changing temperatures, and you end up either freezing or dying of extreme heat. 

We love to wear lots and lots of layers so we can easily control our heat throughout the day, and to make sure that our look can transition throughout the day and between the seasons, we love wearing basic colours and making it some statement pieces!

Suki Waterhouse for Sass & Bide

 British actress, model and photographer Suki Waterhouse is not only the face of Sass & Bide's S/S '13 digital campaign but also the stylist and illustrator. We're completely jealous of her major talent and good looks (so, so unfair) but we totally understand why Sass & Bide founders Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke picked this one-of-a-kind chick to front the campaign and give it a creative flair. Middleton stated that Suki 'has a curious mind and look at the world in an original way - we felt an instant connection to her' and that she 'embodies the spirit of the brand'. This is truly visible in these gorgeous images below.
Oh and if she couldn't get any better - she's also Bradley Coopers girlfriend.

Oyster Fashion Shoot- School Daze

This new shoot from Oyster, titled 'School Daze' shot by the amazing Charlie Brophy, is amazing.

We love this seriously cool shoot, and we love that they have used all of the models own clothing!

Wildfox- Daisy Girls Collection

With all of the new style focus on the 20's (thanks to the brilliance of Baz Lurhmanns adaption of The Great Gatsby), it was only a matter of time until all of the new 20's inspired collections came out. Wildfox's Daisy Girls Collection is Gatsby inspired, but it certainly doesn't lack originality. It has a really fresh and new take on the glamour and fun that was the 20's and we certainly loved it! We cant wait to get our hands on these pieces!!!
